Hello bloggy world

Yes, it's true.  I have dropped from off the face of the planet.  As I mentioned in my previous post, I have been quite busy in the papercrafting world - just not as much in the bloggy world.  But I thought I would take a minute to show you a little something that I have had published lately.

Are you feeling the beginnings - little stirrings of holiday, warm fuzzy feelings?  I know I have been.  It has been downright freezing here the past two days, so how could I not.

If you need an excuse to indulge in those warm feelings, turn them in the direction of creativity!  After all, a girl's got to prepare, right?  You don't want to be unprepared for the upcoming Christmas season.  There are gifts and decorations to be made!  Better start now.  ;-)  A great place to start would be to check out the beautiful stacks that have been released by DCWV for the holiday season.  You can check out the stacks here and here.

For those of you who have received the Joann holiday mailer, you will see some wonderful DCWV projects for the holiday season.  Some of these projects will also be available in the form of free project instruction sheets that you find in Joann.  Or if you're like me and don't seem to be on that mailing list (why, I have no idea since I certainly spend enough at Joann!), you can also find them on the Joann website.

The tree in the foreground - that's mine.  If you would like to make this tree, instructions can be found here.

Those cool paper pine cones, and lacy snowflakes - those would be mine too.  If you would like to make this beautiful garland, instructions can be found here.

Now, don't get me wrong.  I am all for waiting until after Thanksgiving to really get the Christmas festivities going.  But I am also all about having a creative outlet.  Spend a little time every day thinking of all the many blessings and freedoms we share.  Then get those creative juices flowing!

I haven't disappeared

Just so you know that I haven't completely vanished, here's a video from Joann where you can see one of my projects!  Mine is the picture frame in the bottom right corner of the assortment of pictures on the wall - the pink/black/white "friends" picture frame.  Most of the projects that I make these days are top secret, so I can't show them to you until after they're "published".
