As I have said many times before, I love a challenge! And I found a new one this week at Critter Sketch Challenge Blog. The challenge this week was using the color red in combination with stripes, so how could I not join in. I LOVE red! It is my signature color (said with a heavy southern accent - name that movie!).
The striped paper is from Making Memories, the stamp is from Stampin' Up!, and the critter is from Cricut cartridge Create a Critter.

Fantabulous Cricut Challenge #24 - Tropical!
I have to say, my crafting came at a great cost today. While my 3 year old, who refuses to take naps anymore, was having a "quiet time" this afternoon I decided to do some crafting. Little did I know that the reason he was being so quiet was because he had sneaked down into his sisters' bedroom and had gotten into some of their crafting supplies and proceeded to paint, with black paint no less, all over one of the walls. Aaaahhh!

My Creative Time Throwback Thursday Challenge - Frame It!
It's so nice when a challenge and a project come together so nicely. A friend of mine just had a baby so I decided to be oh-so-trendy and use pink and brown to create my chickie ensemble.

Fantabulous Cricut Challenge #23 - The Great Outdoors
Woo-hoo! Do you see my new blinky? My submission for last week's Fantabulous Cricut Challenge was chosen as a Top 5!
Today I tried to make the ever elusive man card. We have lots of fishermen in my family, so a fishing card was a natural choice. That, and I don't really have any other outdoorsy-type images...
I love Create a Critter!

PKS Challenge #35
So here's the sketch for this week's challenge:
And here are the colors:
I have to say in the world of colors, probably my least favorite are teal and purple (oops sorry, orchid). I don't wear these colors, I don't generally dress my children in these colors, I don't decorate with these colors, and they certainly aren't my "go to" colors when it comes to papercrafting. I do, however, really like apricot. And since I happened to have teal and orchid in some of my stacks, I thought I'd might as well give it a try. Surprise, surprise, I really like how it turned out. For this card I resurrected a stamp set from my Stampin' Up! demo days called Pretty Princess. I hope you like it!

MPS Critter Challenge
My family and I are going to a rodeo tonight, so a cow just seemed fitting. Well, that and I just found this totally adorable barnyard paper from Doodlebug Design. If you want to join in you can check out the challenge here.

PKS Challenge 34
I've discovered new blogs that have challenges lately, so I've been all too happy to jump aboard! The sketch for this challenge can be found here at the Peachy Keen Stamps Blog. I don't currently own any Peachy Keen Stamps, but I'd like to! They are super cute. Thanks for the inspiration!
